Centreville Hires Rhodes As New Police Chief

The Town Council of Centreville announced the appointment of Charles M. Rhodes, Jr. as the new Chief of the Centreville Police Department. The appointment was made after a diligent search and two rounds of interviews by the Council. Chief Rhodes retired at the rank of Captain from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police, where he served for thirty years. He also served as Chairman of the Kent County Drug Task Force, and more recently was a senior law enforcement consultant to Washington College’s Crime Mapping and Analysis Program.
