Fire officials say a faulty electrical outlet supplying power to the refrigerator caused a deadly house fire in Cambridge. James Leland Smith, 73, died in the blaze on Linthicum Driver. Damage is estimated at about $100,000. There was a smoke alarm, but no battery installed.
