March 1-31: Spring classes begin at the Centre for the Arts in Centreville: Tap for all ages, Ballroom dancing, Guitar and Mixed Media Art for Homeschoolers, Pennywise Marketing, Newsletters: Creating, Printing & Mailing, Knitting, Stamp Club, Crop Club and Zumba. Area artist and artisan members of the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council display their work at the following Centreville locations: The Centreville National Bank, PNC Bank, Ashley Premier Properties, An Optical Galleria, Queen Anne’s County Partnerships for Children, and Delmarva Financial Group. Area artists featured at all locations. Works are for sale in a variety of media. The exhibits are open during regular business hours. 410.758.2520

March 6-28: Exhibit: The Centre for the Arts in Centreville is proud to present “The Shapes of Nature” featuring watercolors, oils and acrylics by Jonathan Shaw and decorative decoy work by Lu Fisher. Open to the public. Free. Exhibit hours are T-F 9 am – 5 pm and Sat 10 am to 2 pm. 410.758.2520

March 14: Stamp Club: Fun with paper, rubber stamps, inks and ephemera. The topics and materials may change from month to month, but the fun and creativity is always there. March 18: Ballroom Dance/Swing Classes with hostess Amanda Showell: this workshop is a great way to learn some new steps in swing dance which focuses on the basics but also adds some new fancy footwork. 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Cost is $25. 410.758.2520

March 28: FREE Ballroom Demonstration. Scared you have two left feet? Ballroom dance champion Amanda Showell will show you what Ballroom is all about in this fun, forty-five minute open house.
