The Queen Anne’s Chorale will open its spring concert season with its first rehearsal on January 5, 2009, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Centreville United Methodist Church in Centreville, MD. Rehearsals will focus on the Annual Spring Gala which will be performed on Saturday, April 25, 2009 , 7:30 p.m. at Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College, Wye Mills, MD. The concert, entitled “April Fools” will explore humor in music which will delight and entertain the audience!
The Chorale is always seeking singers of all voice parts and will hold an “OPEN” rehearsal on January 12, 2009. There is no audition and a reception will be held afterward. Interested singers should arrive at 6:30 p.m. Music will be available for those who attend. It should be noted that the Chorale does not accept new singers after this date.
Mr. Robert Huntington, Artistic Director of the 60-voice singing ensemble, is in his seventh season with the Chorale.
