CBMM’s Apprentice For A Day Program Offers Lines And Lofting Classes

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s (CBMM) Apprentice for a Day Program is offering Lines and Lofting classes on three consecutive Saturdays – October 16, 23, and 30 from 10 to 4 pm. Under the direction of a CBMM shipwright, participants will take lines off of an old hull, drawing them up to full size.

The cost is $35 per day for Museum members and $45 per day for non-members, with classes limited to six participants. Participants must be 16 or older unless accompanied by an adult. The classes are part of the Museum’s 17-week Apprentice for a Day program, which runs Saturdays and Sundays.
