CBT Robbery Suspect Behind Bars

The man who allegedly robbed the Morgnec Road branch of Chesapeake Bank and Trust is in jail on $300,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing later this month. Tony Marcell Hollis, 52, of Centreville, was taken into custody on January 5, eight days after he allegedly robbed a female teller of an undisclosed amount of money. Hollis is charged with robbery, armed robbery, and theft between $1,000 and $10,000. A preliminary hearing is set for January 27 in the District Court of Kent County. At that time a judge will determine if there is probable cause to believe that Hollis committed the offenses.
