Charlie Brown at Lighthouse Christian Academy

Enjoy Charlie, Snoopy, and the whole gang as they share a day in the life of Charlie Brown. “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown!” is being presented by the students of Lighthouse Christian Academy on Friday and Saturday, May 14th and 15th at 7 p.m.

Liz Jedrzejczyk, LCA’s first grade teacher, is directing a cast of six, who range in age from 4th to 9th grade. “Mrs. J,” the cast, and crew have been hard at work for several months preparing for this event. “The cast and crew have really come together as a team and it is especially gratifying to see their great commitment to each other and to the play. And it’s obvious they are loving it!” says Susan Groves, administrative assistant at LCA.

Lighthouse Christian Academy is in its 9th year, offering the best of affordable, private education for the children of the mid-Shore. Why the best? “Our school has devoted itself to excellence in ministering to the children as God has created them,” says Pastor Scott Lambert. “Balancing grace and fun, with a challenging academic environment in the classical model, our kids are not only developing intellectually, but their character and hearts are being nurtured to glorify God and to be a blessing to others.”

Tickets are available at the door for $10/adult and $6/children ages 4-17. Children ages 3 and under are free. For play details and general school information, please visit www.lcacademy.org or call 410-643-3034. The school is located at 510 Thompson Creek Road, exit 38A off route 50 on Kent Island.

LCA is currently enrolling K-12 for Fall 2010. You can visit the school any day during normal school hours. And you might just see Snoopy running around!
