Chester Man Charged with Making, Selling IEDs

A 51-year-old Eastern Shore man stands accused of making and selling improvised bombs. Police in Queen Anne’s County say they had been investigating reports of loud noises for several months before nabbing Chester resident Dale Anthony Rocknak. Undercover detectives reportedly bought several bombs from Rocknak. A subsequent search of his home yielded bomb-making materials. Rocknak faces five counts of manufacturing and selling explosive devices and could get 20 years in prison if convicted on all charges. Rocknak’s trial is set for June.
