Critical 60 – Teach Your Child to Drive

Maryland requires new drivers to complete sixty hours of supervised driving in order to earn a provisional license. As the parent, mentor or “coach” of a young driver, are you wondering if you know what you need to know to complete this requirement? This class offers practical insights in how to make this time less stressful, more valuable and much more rewarding. Instead of dreading this task, learn what you need to know to savor this last bit of alone time with your son or daughter. The course teaches you everything you need to know to help your young driver safely master the adult skill of driving.

Chesapeake College offers an educational opportunity for parents of young drivers.  Terry Ober, Critical 60 Instructor, conducts classes totaling six hours giving you, the parent(s), the knowledge and confidence to instruct your young driver and to reduce the anxiety while you are spending precious time with your loved one.  Classes are offered in room 105, MTC Building # 6, Chesapeake College, Wye Mills, Maryland.  Classes are to be held on two separate evenings April 27th and April 29th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm as well as on Saturday May 22nd from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm along with June 7th, June 9th, June 15th and June 17th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm to accommodate your busy schedule.  The six hours of instruction cost is forty dollars per person.
