The holidays are always a special time for everyone. Some people look forward to happy meetings with friends and family, some look forward to holiday shopping, children anticipate the magic and mystery, and everyone looks forward to the gifts they will receive. But for some, the holidays are a time for us to look back on the loved ones we’ve lost – loved ones who used to be a part of our seasonal celebrations.
Hospice of Queen Anne’s is dedicated to the memory of those we have all loved and lost. Each year, HQA holds their Annual Tree Lighting to remember our lost loved ones. This year, the service will be held at the Centreville United Methodist Church, on Sunday, November 21st, at 7:00 p.m. and is open to anyone who has lost a loved one and not just individuals whose loved ones were Hospice of Queen Anne’s patients. Memorial ornaments can be pre-ordered or purchased the night of the service.
The Hospice of Queen Anne’s Tree Lighting Service is an occasion on which families may remember those special people who have come and gone. In the words of Helen Keller, “What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”
For information on attending the event, or if you would like to pre-order your memorial ornament, contact Rev. Phyllis Radlinski, or Rhonda Knotts, at 443-262-4100. You may also email them at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com respectively.
