Learn How to Download Free Audio Books at the Library

On Thursday, December 10, from noon to 1:00 p.m., and again from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, Dave Wiley will offer a special, free class in downloading audio titles to your computer or portable device.  An MP-3 player will be raffled off at each program.

Using the library’s new NetLibrary Media Center, patrons will learn how to search for, check out, and download eAudiobooks (free-of-charge!) to a computer or directly to their personal player. The One-Click Audio collection from Recorded Books includes contemporary works by authors such as Nevada Barr, Charlaine Harris, Carl Weber, and Stephen King, along with classics and children’s favorites.

Thousands of library users worldwide have discovered how easy it is to download an audiobook from the NetLibrary Media Center to their personal player.  The Media Center combines streamlined navigation with a simpler, more visual user interface to create a unique user experience.  The system offers faster downloads, automatic software updates, and support for a much wider range of portable devices.

All library programs are free and open to the public.  Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.
