Tilghman Island Inn owners Jack Redmon and David McCallum will feature three members of A.R.T. East (Artists’ Roundtable of the Eastern Shore) in an exhibit which showcases the trio’s versatility in the media of Ribbon, Glass, Paint and Photography. A.R.T. East is a community of artists of all genres–a support group for living the creative life. Its goals are fostering fellowship with other local artists as well as encouraging artists to find inspiration in their work through the networking of creative ideas. The group shares art related information and acts as a strong advocate for artist’s rights.
The A.R.T. East members featured in this exhibit will be Wende Woodham of Ribbons Across The Chesapeake who creates “quilt-like” woven ribbon pictures, Sue Rena Curtis of Dancing Glass who designs magical stained glass mobiles and Marcie Wachter, an extraordinary artist in the media of oil painting and photography.
The public is invited to join them in a reception with light refreshments on Sunday, June 6th from 3-5pm.
The Tilghman Island Inn’s setting is truly one of the most picturesque and magical on the Chesapeake Bay. It is best known for its spectacular vistas, casual elegance and artfully presented cuisine. This exhibit will strive to duplicate these very qualities as it celebrates the wonderful Chesapeake Bay region.
The “Inn” is located at 21384 Coopertown Road, Tilghman Island, MD 21671
