Members’ Best Exhibit at the Centre for the Arts

The Centre for the Arts welcomes visitors to the latest installation of its artist members. Oils, watercolors, photography and fine jewelry are on display by artists David Terrar, Phil Lambert, Nancy Thomas, Edith Vogl, John Roschy, Marcie Wachter, Laurel Sprenger and Melissa Kay-Steves from December 7, 2010 through January 8, 2011.

Artists in the “Members’ Best” exhibits range from emerging to established professionals with a wide range of styles and mediums. Many are award winners and all offer an opportunity for viewing some of the finest work in the county. These rotating exhibits offer artists and audience members an excellent opportunity to participate in a show that reflects the diversity of regional artwork.

On permanent display at the Liberty Building in downtown Centreville are works selected by watercolor artist Sally Clark. Exhibits are presented by the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council and sponsored by the Maryland State Arts Council. Contact the Arts Council for additional information at 410.758.2520. Visitors may view artwork during regular business hours at 206 S. Commerce St., Centreville, Maryland.
