Visitors will find history, photos, stories and plans for a future memorial of this New Hampshire State symbol.  Other highlights include a narrated boat cruise on Squam Lake, known as one of the most peaceful and pristine lakes in the country and the 1981 film site of On Golden Pond.  Participants will enjoy a ride on Cannons Aerial Tramway ascending over 4000 feet for breathtaking views of some of the most beautiful scenery in the Eastern United States.  A visit to Moultonborough offers an especially scenic drive to see The Old Country Store & Museum.  This charming country store is 228 years old and offers an amazing array of items.  Participants will visit the Trappe Family Lodge to see the beautiful property, lodge, and gift shop and learn about the Sounds of Music family.
