The Henker Group is a Two-Time Finalist in the 10th Annual American Business Awards

The Henker Group was named a 2012 Finalist today in both the Marketing Campaign of the Year – Non-Profit Organization category and the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Community Relations category in the 10th Annual American Business Awards and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner.

The Henker Group was recognized for their work with the Talbot and Dorchester County Health Departments’ “Be the Parent on the Scene” social norms marketing campaign as well as the 2011 “Pearls of Promise” public relations initiative on behalf of Silver Linings of Easton and St. Michaels.

“I could not be more thrilled for The Henker Group and its clients,” comments The Henker Group’s President, Mary Ann Henker. “It has been a privilege to work with Silver Linings and Talbot and Dorchester County Health Departments and help them further their missions and impact on our community. We were also proud to partner with the creative talent of two other Talbot County businesses – Diving Dog Productions and Eclectic Graphics who both made significant contributions to the Be the Parent on the Scene campaign’s success. It is also a tremendous honor to have our work recognized at the national level alongside campaigns created by agencies that are ranked among the top five in the world and such companies as Time Warner. These are just two more examples of the professional talent that resides on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.”

The Henker Group is now a four-time Stevie Award Finalist, with one nomination each in 2010 and 2011.

The American Business Awards are presented by The Stevie Awards, which is the world’s premier business award competition.
