The Wine Coach® Hosts “Get to the Point” at Blue Point Provisional Company

Join Laurie Forster, The Wine Coach® and Chef Jonathan Bosco on April 14, 2010 at 6:30pm for “Get to the Point,” featuring an evening of food and wine at the Blue Point Provision Company. Located on the waterfront grounds of the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Hotel, this is one of the Eastern Shore’s best kept restaurant secrets. The Blue Point Provision Company specializes in casual but elegant waterfront dining with nightly fresh seafood specials. Chef Bosco’s nightly specials include three fresh fish, three fresh oysters, and three ceviche (citrus marinated seafood) offerings.
Forster partners with Chef Bosco to create a multi course wine dinner highlighting some of her favorite food and wine pairings from the Blue Point menu. Throughout the dinner, Forster will entertain guests with pointers on choosing the right wine for any dish, tips for ordering wine while dining out, and some new spring selections to add to your wine rack.

The “Get to the Point” menu includes: First Course—Gloria Ferrer Brut paired with
Brie en Croute with Pear Compote, and Smoked Salmon Tartar; Second Course—Bonterra Sauvignon Blanc, paired with Potato Encrusted Grouper with Grain Mustard Butter Sauce, and Celeriac Puree; Third Course—Sokol Blosser paired with Fennel Seed Dusted Scallopserved over Arrabiata Linguine Pasta; Fourth Course—Le Crema Pinot Noir Spellbound Petite Sirah paired with Smoked Duck Breast with Dried Cherry Le Crema Pinot Noir Jus; and Fifth Course—Graham’s 20 year Tawny Port paired with Flourless Chocolate Torte with Strawberry Basil Sorbet
