sn_6705The question we receive most often is who traditionally pays for the flowers and what family members receive flowers and what type.  Traditionally the grooms family pays for the flowers.  The family members to receive flowers are grandparents, parents, step-parents, godparents, and any members of the family that have a special relationship with the bride or groom.  Traditionally those family members receive boutonnieres for the men and corsages for the woman.  We recommend wrist corsages for the mothers and pin on corsages for the grandmothers.  The family’s flowers don’t necessarily have to match the flowers of the wedding party, they can match the outfit of the person receiving it.  They are simply a token of the bride and grooms thanks and appreciation for their support.
